Massachusetts Motorcycle Association (MMA) Legislative Agenda Planning Session

Join the MMA Board of Directors at this planning session for the MMA’s 2013-2014 Legislative Agenda on Saturday October 13 at the Holiday Inn in Marlboro.   This is a working session that begins at Noon with lunch for all attendees. Join the discussions and share your ideas and dialog for Bills the MMA should file next session. Remember, this is YOUR agenda, which the MMA will champion for this next Legislative session!

A brief overview of the legislative process in Massachusetts will be provided and individual concepts will then be discussed.   The goal is to produce the framework of Bills that will make up the next MMA Legislative Agenda for the 2013-2014 Legislative Session.

Bills need to be formally filed in December 2012, so we need time to research and write the proposed legislation prior to submission.   Bill Sponsors and Co-Sponsors will also be discussed and initial strategies will be developed.

This Planning Session immediately follows the MMA’s special Board of Directors Meeting to be held from 9AM to Noon at this same location and MMA Members are encouraged to consider attending this Board Meeting.

Attendees are asked to RSVP for this FREE event from the MMA’s Event Calendar (Click Here) no later than October 5^th 2012 to appropriately arrange for lunch and comfortable seating.
